SIGULDA PLUDMALE

After Riga and Salaspils, John and I headed for ;down-time' on the banks of the Gauja River near a Latvian National Park. It was a lovely peaceful, quiet time. The river and the forest are great. This would be a great place to do one of their canoe trips! We saw beaver in the river, fox in the forest and heard nightingales every night.
John will have to add the info about the castle.
